We have registered only a few of our own cultivars, and plan to offer some of those on the Lily Auction later in the spring if they do not sell out locally. In the meantime we have a wide range of day lilies to offer from the extensive array of day lilies we acquired for pollen and pod parentage. We began our hybridizing in 2009 after collecting a stock of 200 cultivars (now about 600) from which to work. An important part of our stock comes from Hickory Hill Gardens, the late Clayton Burkey's site, which specialized in unusual forms. We have most of Clayton's many award winners, exceptional cultivars, and classic lilies. At present we are offering these parental lilies of exceptional characteristics at good prices.
Our lilies are guaranteed to be healthy, strong, and to satisfy, or a refund or replacement at our expense will be issued. Lilies are shipped bare root. They are cleaned and treated in accord with shipping practices to California. We plan to have the inspection by May of 2018, when we may be offering our first exceptional cultivars from the new Burr Oak collection.
