Burr Oak Daylilies specializes in season extending and unusual-form day lilies. We have registered a few of our own cultivars, and will offer some of those on the Lily Auction next spring if they do not sell out locally. In the meantime we have a wide range of day lilies to offer from the extensive array we acquired for pollen and pod parentage. We began our hybridizing in 2009 after collecting a stock of 200 cultivars (now about 600) from which to work. An important part of our stock comes from Hickory Hill Gardens, the late Clayton Burkey's site, which specialized in unusual forms. We have most of Clayton's many award winners, exceptional cultivars, and classic lilies. At present we are offering these parental lilies of exceptional characteristics at good prices.
Our lilies are guaranteed to be healthy, strong, and to satisfy, or a refund or replacement at our expense will be issued (unless noted for certain fall shipment lilies). Lilies are shipped bare root. They are cleaned and treated in accord with shipping practices to California.
Burr Oak Daylilies generally list is fall offerings about August 1, and its Spring offerings about January 1.
