‘Wild and Wacky’
(Peat 2010)*
Sev., - Fr. EM., Re. 25 in. sc.; 5.75 in. fl. 3 way branching with 30+ buds. The appliqué patterned eyezone is dissected by the lavender-blue mid-ribs. There is a burgundy stippled eyezone just above the dark green throat. The appliqué pattern is above the stippled eyezone but accented by a large wide multi-banded lavender-blue and dark purple eyezone which is further enhanced by dark purple veins. The eye pattern is mimicked on all of the sepals continuing to show off an explosion of color jutting out from the dark green throat. Very fertile both ways. ‘Rippled Oasis’ x ('Meet Joe Black' x 'Catcher in the Eye').
***********Please Read…Change in shipping period*********
---Please read all my personal rules and ramblings before bidding.
Shipping-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----We will start shipping the first week of September and continue through the 29th of October 2017. Since shipping can be a quite the undertaking (when you do this for a hobby) -- and we are trying to clearance out most all our lilies before we move, my wife has graciously took off the last week of October to help me ship. **********So unless otherwise requested we will ship most all lilies during the last week of October. **********
If you’ve already won some lilies from us this Summer and have already requested a certain week for shipping, please don’t worry at all, I will ship your lilies the week you requested. And if you have already won any of our auctions this Summer (and didn’t request a specific shipping time when you sent payment), where we listed September through Mid-October Shipping, and would prefer your lilies shipped during the September through Mid-October, no problem whatsoever!, just please send us a message or a letter letting us know that the last week of October would be too late and let us know which week(or weeks) that you prefer to have your lilies shipped (anytime during September-October 29). I just need to know how to plan and move all our plants and possessions to a brand new state this Fall :o)
--- All items won between May 2017 through September 2017 will qualify for combined shipping. If you have a certain time frame that you would like your lily delivered, please include that shipping time frame with your payment. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred shipping dates. If you don’t include a preferred shipping time, we will assume that it is ok to send your lilies the last week of October. I know nothing of living outside horticultural zone 8, so it is your responsibility to let me know when it’s the best time to ship to your zone.
Also please know that combined shipping doesn’t end when you send a payment. Combined shipping continues until we ship your lilies. If you receive an email or Lily Auction message/email alerting you that your lilies have been shipped or if you physically receive them at your address, then combined shipping is ended. Until your order is shipped, you only have to pay the $12 shipping charge for your first auction win of the Summer. All subsequent wins are only $3.00 shipping and handling won during Summer.
---We will ship to all U.S. states except California, however, please note that for Washington, New Mexico, Oregon, Alaska and Arizona, and Hawaii the shipping and handling will be $20.00 with a $3.00 S&H for each additional item won.
Messages----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---Please allow at least one week for us to respond to any messages or correspondence. Daylilies are just a small portion of our week and we usually only list new lilies and respond to messages once a week. As you know, life can get busy with jobs and family and church, so we devote only one day a week to listing lilies and answering messages. Thanks for your understanding!
Change of Address----------------------------------------------------------------
---Once you purchase your first lily from us (this season) we write your shipping address down. If you change your address before the shipping period, please drop us a message on the Lily Auction, to let us know your new address. Once we receive your new address we’ll write it down and send you a confirmation message on the message board. If you don’t receive the confirmation message, we did not receive your notice of address change. And we can’t be responsible for shipping to a different address other than the address that was listed the first time you won an auction from us this season unless you let us know.
Fan Size------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----Each variety of daylily makes a different fan size. Some grow quite large while others make low arching foliage (which look smaller when they’re dug and divided). Some that make consistently small fans, I try to include that fact, in the listing, but even my memory gets fuzzy trying to remember every detail about every lily :o) . It’s also important to know (as I was really dissatisfied as a daylily customer when I first ordered daylilies for fall shipping) that the lily fans are much smaller in fall than in spring. I guess because they put so much energy into gracing us with their heavenly blossoms for months on end and then multiplying and dividing to boot!, the fans are much smaller than fans shipped in spring. The advantage to buying in the fall, is that, the daylilies are growing in your soil all fall, winter and early spring, so they’ll be ready to send up beautiful scapes for you by the spring! But if you purchase them for spring shipping, many times you have to wait to see their beautiful flowers until the following year. So I guess everything has its pros and cons… Order for Fall shipping and you receive smaller fans, but get to see flowers almost for sure by Spring (plus your fans plump up in your own garden soil), but if you order for Spring shipping, you usually get larger fans, but there’s a good chance that you won’t get to see your lilies bloom much, if at all, until the following year! I just like to let folks know the perks of ordering their lilies during the different times of the year, so you’ll be informed as best as possible :o)
----We guarantee your happiness. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please feel free to return the package, the next day after receiving it. We just ask that you send it back the following day, so that the daylilies can be returned before they croak. They are daylilies, so we don’t want them pushing up daisies ;). (If you’ll soak the lilies in water up to their crown over night, so that when they are returned they will have rehydrated to some degree, we’d really appreciate that). Once we receive the lilies, you’ll receive a full refund.
Payments Due------------------------------------------------------------------------
---Payments are due within 2 weeks after the auction close. For those of you who wish to keep bidding on our auctions and would rather write as few checks as possible, please send me an email and let me know that you are still wishing to bid on other items and that you would like to send one payment. However, payments are still due within one month (30 days) after the close of your last unpaid auction. Sellers only have a limited time to report non-payment to the Lily Auction and have their fees refunded.
Odds and Ends-----------------------------------------------------------------------
---Please include your username with all your payments and correspondence. So we’ll know who you are ;)
---Georgia Residents please add 7% sales tax to your winning bid (shipping isn’t sales taxed)
Thank You-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
