You are bidding on a blooming size single fan of ROYAL GYPSY (Benz) tet 30" M. Dor. (Tet. Super Purple X Angel's Smile) From only 2 seeds from this nigh on impossible cross came two introductions. Both are beautiful and unique, and so different they don't even appear related. ROYAL GYPSY is a rich rose-red with snow white picotee around a heavily ruffled and brocaded border. Substance is very heavy, yet blooms are always open flat. Throat is bright-green. Makes large beautiful blue-green fans with strong nicely branched scapes and about 18 buds. Fertile bith ways and ROYAL GYPSY has proven an incredible breeder, producing flowers in all shades of red from deep rose to blood-ruby, with heavily ruffled white, not ivory, but snow-white, picotee borders. ROYAL GYPSY is the parent of EVER SO SULTRY and RUBY CORONA, placing it in the pedigree of all my best teeth sdlgs.
