We mix our own soil, including alfalfa, bone meal, blood meal and WORM CASTINGS. We feed primarily with Miracle Grow with minors and SEAWEED CONCENTRATE. We do not force our plants. We use good old California sunshine, water and nutrients. We rely heavily on organic products for insect and disease control---we have LADYBUGS, GREEN LACEWINGS AND PRAYING MANTIS on patrol for us.

Dark Empire

tet 30" M. Dor. (Rain Dance X Black Ace) One of my personal favorites, and a breeder nonpareil-DARK EMPIRE has produced many of our finest new purples. This round, piecrust ruffled, sultry burgundy-purple, with its small cream-green throat, reminds one of a purple version of RAIN DANCE, only improved in every respect. Blooms are larger at 51/2", flatter, and heavier. Plants are even bigger, although not so fast to increase, and scapes are huge and thick with 3-4 lateral branches and a terminal cluster, and as high as 50 buds when well- grown. Consistent; always perfect, and despite a deep velvet pile, blooms remain virtually unchanged at the end of our hot- test days. As a group, the seedlings from DARK EMPIRE are the most ruffled and heaviest of our new purples; and many of these possess phenomenal branching and bud-count.

Payment is due in 10 days. We dig, dip, clip and ship on the same day and most plants are carefully prepared for shipping within 15 minutes of the time they come out of the soil. Shipping is $12 for the first plant and additional wins will be $3 for each single or double fan and $5 for those with 3 or more fans shipped in the same box (we will do our best to combine as many as we can). Your largest win will be your first plant. We rely on you to notify us when you are ready and it is safe to receive your plants. Please stay current with your purchases. We guarantee only to ship healthy plants that are true to cultivar. These plants are for SPRING DELIVERY!
