Al'S PEACH TOWER (Goldner-Davisson),2009 Triple Fan I wait for this one to bloom each season as it has a deeper peach than most and extremely tall which I love! It grows very well in my Delaware, zone 7b garden. The hybridizer's photo and description follow: Al's Peach Tower (Goldner-Davisson 09)
7" peach with tall 52 - 59"scapes, 4 to 5 way branching, 18 to 23" buds, beautiful dormant foliage,Tetraploid., blooms mid to late season, recurrent here in zone 7. A powerhouse breeder in an extra tall scape program for either unusual forms or rounder forms or to make "too short" scapes taller. Easily fertile both ways even on hot days. Parent to my TOWER POWER (Davisson Fall 09, AMAZING ADAM and many futures and well as Goldner's HAL RICE. Gives rugged, northern hardy, well branched kids. From SEARS TOWER breeding. Close up of the bloom.....old fashioned by today's standard, but a color that is a clarifier with a form that can go either round, triangular, unusual form, or spidery.....a cornerstone in my hybridizing program for hardy, tall daylilies. All plants are grown in my 7B zone Delaware garden within a couple miles of the Lewes and Rehoboth beaches. My soil is a nice blend of sand, clay and organic matter. I try to offer at least DF or TF however I do specify in the description the size fan to expect. Please pay within 5 days of auction close. I accept checks and paypal. Please note your bidder alias with payment. Fall shipping is generally late August to early September. Shipping is through USPS Priority Mail - $15 for first plant plus $2 for each additional plant.
