LESS IS BEST, Davisson J, 2019, Double fan The hybridizer's photo and description follow: LESS IS BEST is a unique bud building 8 1/2" apricot orange unusual form with curling sepals, twisting petals, and a huge yellow watermark. Yellow sepals are edged with apricot giving a bicolor look.Scapes are 40" with ideal 4-way branching, 26 buds. Easily fertile both ways. Fragrant, too! Dormant plant habit with flawless foliage. Named for a favorite garden helper, Les, who shows up wearing Clemson T-shirts and a smile.Tetraploid from a cross of DOCTOR HANDSOME X A BLOOM WITH A VIEW. All plants are grown in my 7B zone Delaware garden within a couple miles of the Lewes and Rehoboth beaches. My soil is a nice blend of sand, clay and organic matter. I try to offer at least DF or TF however I do specify in the description the size fan to expect. Please pay within 5 days of auction close. I accept checks and PayPal. Please note your bidder alias with payment. Spring shipping is generally late April to early May. Shipping is through USPS Priority Mail - $15 for first plant plus $2 for each additional plant. There is a $5 surcharge to ship to west of the Rockies. Standard LA return policy applies - if not full satisfied with your purchase you may request replacement or return your purchase within 48 hours for a full refund. A Double fan of Less Is Best will be shipped in the spring!
