Please note: Spider Girl makes small fans but multiplies quickly.She does not get 36 inches in my Zone 5b garden. Closer to 28 inches.

Spider Girl represents a breakthough in my hybridizing. She is the Ultimate in DOUBLE SPIDERS. A gorgeous, smashing dark fuchsia pink with an attention grabbing neon-green eye. This spider is one that will ensnare you in her web. She opens perfectly, holds color and form all day, and has a FANTASTIC plant under her. I cannot find a single fault in her, other than she prefers the north, loves the cold, blooms and grows beautifully there. In Florida she grows and blooms fine but her branching and bud count are reduced there. That is why I put her at a conservative 3 way branching and 18 bud count. When she is happy, which is pretty much everywhere else, she can have 4 to 5 way well-spaced branching and 25+ buds per scape. I am using her like crazy in my spiders, pinks and diploid doubles program. She is an OUTSTANDING parent. Look for her in many of my future introductions. A Very important cultivar and parent in my program. Crossing her together with my 2018 double dip, Amethyst Mystery will produce some DYNAMITE kids for you.
