RUBY SHURIKEN

RUBY SHURIKEN is hands down the finest of the �Shurikens� in both flower and plant. RUBY SHURIKEN boasts the the largest flower with the best color and is also the largest plant with the strongest scapes and the best branching of all the sibs. This large 6" stunner sports ultra-flat side-facing blooms and a huge jagged sharky edge, like sib COSMIC SHURIKEN, but the resemblance stops there. In periods of wet cool weather, the bright ruby red color becomes so saturated it's more of a velvety deep �candy apple� red, with color to equal any red in commerce with or without an edge. In hot dry weather, the petal color lightens a bit and a ruby red halo is evident-STUNNING EITHER WAY. Heavier than most sharks teeth varieties and...always opens flat from the throat-regardless of weather. Bristling with over 1/2" of jagged frills and triangular white shark's teeth, and boasting a large silver dollar sized lime green throat, RUBY SHURIKEN was selected as a favorite the first time it bloomed, and was the most used of all my teeth varieties that season. The pollen went on everything with teeth and 2 years later, the results exceeded all my expectations. The second season, it just knocked me off my feet, sporting 28" tall scapes with 25 buds and 4-way branching and has grown more beautiful with each passing season. Very vigorous with medium-large deep blue green arching foliage and straight well branched scapes with 22-25 buds. An easy parent both ways. RUBY SHURIKEN was my most used teeth variety the last two summers, and I will be using its pollen for years to come.
