Whirly Girl (2017) Sdlg T184-1 [Narrow Path x Cherry Swizzler] 36", 8.5", 5:1 Spider, UFO Cascade, M Dormant Rebloom Fragrant. Fertile both ways. From its initial bloom, I have been in love with this Whirly Girl. There are many similarities between this beauty and her pollen parent, Cherry Swizzler, but Whirly Girl performs better for me in North Carolina's clay soils and she has one of my favorite daylily characteristics…dormancy. I credit my wife of 24 years with the name and found this definition of "Whirly Girl" in the Urban Dictionary which I believe to be quite appropriate for a "day" lily: 1. a girl who lives a "worldly" life. She just lives by the "pleasure principal" , living for today. That doesn't necessarily mean she's wasteful or reckless or irresponsible. She may or may not be wealthy. She's absorbed in the surrounding culture and loves to spread the joy around to others but not in a Care Bears or Pollyanna way (ugh)! She sees things with rose colored glasses and she wants you to be happy too. She's a Sunshine Girl. Whirly Girl is a vibrant, cherry red 5:1 Spider that is also qualifies as a UFO Cascade. All plants are field grown to promote natural division (no BAP paste, tissue culture, etc!). All orders are shipped Priority Mail, and shipping charges are $12 for the first plant and $2 for each additional purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return for a full refund. NOTE: I DO NOT accept Paypal for payment.
