You cannot judge this daylily by the photo, No way! There is a grand sparkling effect over her face, like 3-D and Opals. It is really like nothing else. First you have a large full form pink flower with extra wide overlapped petals, edged with gold ruffles and a very large green throat. But it’s when you get close and I have watched folks ‘Get Close” and then be impressed and extremely complimentary. So you are just going to have to trust me when I say there are special traits here. GRAND ILLUSION with her large green watermark has worked well for me, passing on those applique throat patterns into big green throat applique seedlings. GRAND ILLUSION also has the faintest echo of a past eye shown as darker diamond dusting which heavily covers the entire flower. Then lastly darker pink veining intersect through. Words do her no justice - Your own eyes will. Grows like a weed, Fertile both ways. SINGLE FAN
