These are my last single fan "half price sale" listings for the season. Thank you so much for looking!
FLAMINGO FLAMBEAU (Michaels 2008) M 29" (36" in 2009, perhaps due to getting so much extra rain that year and in 2008?) SEV 6½" (9" wingspan) fuchsia hot pink blend with deep rose chevron eye and cream midribs over a green throat. Spider ratio averages 4:1 if given a lot of water, so is usually skinnier. Terminal Y with only 1 lateral and 18 buds here, but what a color! And what a parent for cold hardy screaming pink, rose and purplish kids with big green throats! Doesn't curl or twist much in drought conditions but, given a summer with a bit of rain, it really starts to dance. Pod parent of CREATURE CONCEPT, pollen parent of CERISE'S PIECES and HALF MAGIC and I suspect I'll be introducing hot colored kids from it for years to come. Makes small to average sized fans. [(DALLAS STAR x unknown) X WILDEST DREAMS].
You are bidding on one bare root single fan: to be mailed in spring, 2014. Shipping usually begins in May but there have been years where I was able to ship as early as the second week in April.
The garden is state inspected. We have never had daylily rust nor daylily leafminer.
Payment: Unless prior arrangements have been made, payment is expected within 10 days following the close of this auction.
To US addresses: Shipment will be via USPS Priority Mail. Please include $10.00 postage plus $1.00 for each additional plant to be shipped to the same address. New York state residents, please add 8% sales tax.
To Canadian addresses: Shipment will be via UPS or USPS International Priority Mail on May 27, 2014. Please include $50.00 ($25.00 phytosanitary certification fee plus $25.00 postage) and $1.00 per additional plant to be shipped to the same address.
Sorry, no shipments to Oregon without a phytosanitary certificate. There is a $6.00 charge per address for the certificate for all plants shipped to OR, and the shipment date would be May 27 to coincide with the Canadian shipment day.
