Burt, New York
Pod parent: PURPLE TERMITE (Gossard 2005) EM 35" DOR narrow 4½" reddish purple with small white edges and grass green throat, 4 branches and 19 buds. Reblooms well, it makes small fans and is fertile both ways. Last year, I selected two interesting seedlings from it crossed with "My Beautiful Flopper" and they haven't flopped yet. (Dickerson sdlg X FELLOW).
Pollen parent: EVERYTHING LOUDER (Michaels 2012 intro registered in 2011) M 32" SEV EMO This 7" (10½" wingspan) recurving red violet and hot cerise blend over a very green throat has been absolutely the loudest seedling in the selected bed since 2008. Not only does it scream, it sometimes throws out a sepal to try to grab your attention. And holy moly does it have heavy duty, stand-up-to-a-slingshot substance and wonderful colorfastness! Pod and pollen fertile, it puts out 2-3 lateral branches averaging 25 buds. A sibling to BANANACONDA, it makes average sized fans and is easily fertile both ways. Can we have everything louder than everything else? No problem! It throws screaming kids with abandon. (SCREAMING EELS X WILDEST DREAMS).
Goals:Hot colors, lots of blooms and better green throats.
