ZAHADOOM
hybridizer’s description:
(Stamile, P.) TET 1198 (Sabine Baur X Tetra Lavender Blue Baby) 28” EMRe. Dor. vfr. emo. 5 ½” x 3 ½” x 2 ¼”. 3-way branching. 21-25 buds. Reminiscent of the dark and mysterious planet it is named for ZAHADOOM stokes the imagination in all its possibilities. A huge blue purple eye and wide heavily ruffled blue purple border dominate this orchid beige flower. An absolutely stunning flower which never fails to garner attention in the garden. Seedlings from ZAHADOOM have been some of the most fascinating. Coming from the old J.L. Cruse lines with their huge big eyes via Jeff Salter’s SABINE BAUR on one side and Jack Carpenter’s Tetra LAVENDER BLUE BABY I should have not been so surprised by the huge eyes in black, violet and purple nor the blue lavender eyes and borders. A great parent for giving diversity of different looks. Fertile both ways.

PURPLE STARFISH
(Gossard, James) 2011 introduction
hybridizer’s description:
(Delta Force x Waiting in Wings )
Tetraploid 35" Mid season Semi-Dormant emo fr 8.5" 3-5 way branching 18-25 buds. Fertile both ways. Rebloomer
Purple Starfish is a huge purple flower with a dark purple eye zone that covers most of the flower. Flower form is UFO cascade. Throat is very green. Like its parents Delta Force, Heavenly Island Magic and Waiting In The Wings, bloom is early. What sets it apart from its parents, besides being bigger is its fall rebloom. Flowers are over 12 inches when laid out flat. Has been a great hybridizing daylily. Many future intros from this one. Tops

CROSSES ARE LISTED AS POD X POLLEN. I WILL TELL IF I SHOW THE PIC IN REVERSE ORDER.
I AM SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY TO THOSE WHO CAN RECEIVE SEEDS. $7 for 10 wins (I give lots of bonus seeds). U.S. SHIP IS $3 FOR 10 WINS. This includes lots of bonuses.
I LOVE HYBRIDIZING ...and have no room to plant many seeds since I have moved to California. So I have bought the plants I loved for BLUE, PATTERNS, BLACKS, AND TENDRILS..and am crossing them with some of my selected seedlings (hopefully to be introduced in the near future.)
I hope you will have some fun buying some packets of unusual combinations of color and pattern and winning a Stout Medal..or at least having the excitement of that first bloom.
I will be using my own photos when possible (of course, all seedlings will be my photos). Should I inadvertently put up a photo I have copied from the web and it is yours, let me know..I will give you credit or change it.
All seeds are 2014 seeds and will be shipped immediately after payment. Seeds vary in size and wrinkling, this does not affect their ability to germinate.
Seeds were air dried for 1-2 days, passed the "squeeze" test for viability and have been refrigerated for at least 2 weeks in zip sealed bags.
PAYPAL is preferred, but checks and money orders will be accepted. Payment to be received in 7 days, unless notified. Seeds will be mailed in bubble envelopes once payment is received. To combine wins just let me know. Postage is $3.00 for the first win, with no additional charge for up to 10 wins, if won in a two week period and shipped together.
