Starb3 has a very fluted edge and a pattern that enlarges every year. This year pools of blue evolved outside of the outline. Very pod fertile, I was delighted when these seeds materialized. I have bloomed amazing seedlings from sib Starb2. Hoping for wild edges and maybe a pattern thrown in there for good measure... Enjoy!

The brutal winter of 2013-2014 will not soon be forgotten. We were pleasantly surprised by the survival ability of 99.5 % of our cultivars grown here. It was a mixed bag with bloom, however. Some cultivars acted as if nothing happened while others decided not to scape or bloom. That being said, I remind you of my mantra... I hybridize for myself first and I am glad to share via the auction. I am not in this to make big $$.... but every penny helps me pursue my dreams :)
You will see I have decided to use my own seedlings in many crosses, as I feel they were superior parents for the cross. I welcomed some of the most exciting offerings from my favorite hybridizers and have added them to my gene pool. I thank Guy and Karen Pierce, Tom Polston, Jim and James Townsend, Mary Gaskins, Nicole Devito, Dan and Jane Trimmer and Barry Matthie for sharing their best with me.
