WOW, SHOULD BE SOME GREAT KIDS... TAMBOURINE MAN (PETIT 2006) hybridizer’s description: (Reyna x Didgeridoo) TET Sev. 6” fl. 26” sc. M 20 buds. FRAGRANT. The blooms on Tambourine Man are a deep rich burgundy purple. They are set off by a rich, very dark purple eye and wide matching picotee edge. The eye is often more triangular than round, moving out onto the petal self, covering much of it with the rich dark purple color. The petal edges are nicely ruffled, with a second bubbly gold edge circling and back lighting the flower. At the center of the flower is a lettuce green throat. Beautiful, saturated color on highly dramatic flowers. X EXPLODING GALAXY (Smith-Harry-P., 2012) HYBRIDIZER’S DESCRIPTON: TET 8-6 (Space Coast Seashells x Crazy Ivan) x (Crazy Ivan x TET Connie Burton) 6 ˝, EM, RE, SEV, 27" scape, 5 way branching, 26 buds Wow! This mind-blowing daylily is finally being released. To see this one-of-a-kind daylily is to know you will not see it's like elsewhere. The throat is a unique appliqué that extends far out into the petals.A dark inky-purple eye is painted around this complex throat. Petal edges are banded in the same inky-purple and finished in serrated gold. The self-color is made up of chevrons of pale amber. The overlapping petals have a very round look due to the big blunt sepals which are also painted.A fabulous parent that is both pod and pollen fertile. ********** CROSSES ARE LISTED AS POD X POLLEN. I WILL TELL IF I SHOW THE PIC IN REVERSE ORDER. I AM SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY TO THOSE WHO CAN RECEIVE SEEDS. $7 for 10 wins (I give lots of bonus seeds). U.S. SHIP IS $3 FOR 10 WINS. This includes lots of bonuses. I LOVE HYBRIDIZING ...and have no room to plant many seeds since I have moved to California. So I have bought the plants I loved for BLUE, PATTERNS, BLACKS, AND TENDRILS..and am crossing them with some of my selected seedlings (hopefully to be introduced in the near future.) I hope you will have some fun buying some packets of unusual combinations of color and pattern and winning a Stout Medal..or at least having the excitement of that first bloom. I will be using my own photos when possible (of course, all seedlings will be my photos). Should I inadvertently put up a photo I have copied from the web and it is yours, let me know..I will give you credit or change it. All seeds are 2014 seeds and will be shipped immediately after payment. Seeds vary in size and wrinkling, this does not affect their ability to germinate. Seeds were air dried for 1-2 days, passed the "squeeze" test for viability and have been refrigerated for at least 2 weeks in zip sealed bags. PAYPAL is preferred, but checks and money orders will be accepted. Payment to be received in 7 days, unless notified. Seeds will be mailed in bubble envelopes once payment is received. To combine wins just let me know. Postage is $3.00 for the first win, with no additional charge for up to 10 wins, if won in a two week period and shipped together. Judy from STARCROSSEDSEEDS |
