POD: DEATH ADDER Mahieu / Burris '07, 6” bloom, 40” tall, DOR, DIP, Mid season, EXT. Pinched crispate ufo, chocolate-taupe blend with black-mahogany eye, faint snakeskin pattern (rectanglular, dark-pigmented areas on a lighter ground) lemon to olive throat. POLLEN: YELLOW IBIS Mahieu-Burris '10, 9", 70", DOR, DIP, Mid-Late. Somewhat of a bud-builder it can top out well over the 70". Huge, fragrant bloom of creamy lemon with a huge, radiating chartreuse throat. Scapes are very strong and hold up well both to wind and rain, with only a few outside scapes leaning ever so slightly, but in no means so much as to be a fault as many of this height do. And how many of them have a 9" bloom!!! If you like tall, this one has it all.Fragrant, Diurnal, with 4 way branching and 24 buds. This was a sib cross.
