I promised myself more swimming and canoeing time rather than spending time making seeds for sale this past summer, and I stuck to it. But, of course, I made way too many seeds for myself and now they’re in need of a good home.
Pod parent: “Reuther’s Brown Spider” (unregistered) M 38” DOR 4” skinny deep brown with a black eye and decent bud count; pod parent of CHIPMUNK and pollen parent of BLIND SQUIRREL (Hmm, seems like it throws cute rodents….).
Pollen parent: MILK CHOCOLATE (Carney 1967) ML 26" (more like 38” here) DOR this 5" chocolate brown with black brown halo finally won an HM in 2000. With wonderful dark leaves and tons of buds, it is the pod parent of BOB KREISBERG, LAINDA AND ALAN, and MONT ROYAL DEMITASSE, pollen of CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE, FUDGE FACTOR, GOLD RUN, NUTMEG EYES and more. Makes narrowish fans.
Goals: Very brown smallish blooms, perhaps with some sepal movement.
The seeds have been air dried for 1-3 days before being refrigerated. Please store them in your fridge until ready to plant.
