I promised myself more swimming and canoeing time rather than spending time making seeds for sale this past summer, and I stuck to it. But, of course, I made way too many seeds for myself and now they’re in need of a good home.
Pod parent: BLPMOM-45 (unregistered) 38” ML- L DOR 8˝” (13” wingspan) dusty pink and purple blend with a grayed eye over a large yellow to green throat. A Crispate/Cascade Unusual Form with fairly thick substance that curls and twists. Fertile both ways, it tends to throw a lot of stippled and grayish kids, also with heavy substance Despite having only one lateral and 16 buds, I believe it is unique enough, and positively an interesting enough parent, that its introduction is planned for 2017. (BLACK PASSION X MONSTER MAGIC).
Pollen parent: LIQUID MEMORY (Michaels 2009) M 40" DOR 8" pink Cascade Unusual Form with an orchid eye over a chartreuse throat, 2 branches and 18 buds. Scapes effortlessly withstand 50mph winds with 2 blooms open. Sometimes measuring as a spider, it is fertile both ways but pollen is far easier. Passes its strong scapes. Makes average sized fans for a diploid near-spider. (DALLAS STAR Seedling X ORCHID CORSAGE).
Goals: Hoping to highlight the dusty nature of the colors while maintaining the very wiggly movement and heavy substance.
The seeds have been air dried for 1-3 days before being refrigerated. Please store them in your fridge until ready to plant.
