Cream with a peachy pink tint, extra large gold edge and a green throat. This is one awesome daylily. May have the best plant habit I have ever seen. Makes huge fans. Bigger than the Florida boys can grow them -- and mine�s not pumped up to get them to do it. It�s with no real care. I�m happy to report that it produced pods for the first time this year -- and lots of them. It has to be at clump strength to get pods. Named for an awesome kid, my best buddy, my nephew � BOOBOO.� A must have. And it does pass on that great plant habit to its kids. I have tons of great keepers from this. Fertile both ways.

(April LaQuinta x Lilly King) (Diana Culbertson x Lady Alvatine). Dor. to Sev. 7" fl. 24" sc. M 20 buds. Excellent to good rust resistance. Fertile both ways. Plants go completely dormant in cold winters, and are heavy rebloomers, blooming for 4 months in Florida. I like large, showy flowers, and the blooms of Lonesome Diva are massive! Not only are the blooms so large, the petals are also extremely wide and deeply ruffled, with the deep scalloped ruffling going nearly to the midrib. The ruffling is often deeply folded and crimped with a gold to chartreuse edge. The self color is a coral to mango pink. Add to this that this is another of this year's dormant introductions that are strong vigorous growers in Florida. The flowers of Lonesome Diva are so huge and voluptuous, they create a grand presence in the garden that stops visitors in their tracks.

Seeds were air dried for 48 hours and have been refrigerated for at least 3 weeks
