TET ([ Yellow Dynamo x Shinto Etching) x ( tetra Spindazzle ]) x(Born to Late x Crocodile Smile) 34" M Dormant emo fr 7 1/2" 4-5 way branching 22-28 buds. Fertile both ways. Rebloomer. Flowers of Yellow Viper are chrome yellow with a heavy darker edge Flowers are UFO cascade. Yellow Viper has been a great parent for producing bigger and better toothy and edged UFO's and spiders. Yellow Viper is a much improved Yellow Dynamo. Yellow Viper has three doses of tetra Spindazzle genes. Crossed with Tetra Heavenly Angel Ice, even better seedlings have been produced. These when crossed with the southern large edged flowers are then producing a new exciting area of daylily hybridizing.

(Benz) tet 42" M. Dor {Flaming Sword X [Horns x (White Fang x Spartan Warrior)]}

A reverse sib to SKY HOOKS and if the description sounds similar, is because they are nearly identical in scape height, branching, bud-count and oberall plant habit. This cross gave me several pastel polychromes; but AMAZON FURY is the only pale yellow in over 80 seedlings from this HORNS f-2 cross, and rivals SKY HOOKS as the tallest of these sibs. The 6" waxy palest lemon yellow blooms are thoroughly encrusted with long twisting fringe, hooks and lace. Few pastels can match this towering titan for sheer impact. Plants are big and healthy with arching blue-green DORMANT foliage. Scapes are straight, strong and TALL, with 3 lateral branches and a terminal cluster, giving a grand total of 25 buds. SKY HOOKS presents these fancy blooms progressively rather than multiflora and combines this with dependable rebloom, providing a long and extended bloom season. Fragrant and an easy parent both ways. Reblooms here in zone 6...............SOLD OUT
