IRISH HALO. [(Leslie Renee x Angels Gather Around) x (Leslie Renee x Angels Gather Around)]. Semi-evergreen. Tetraploid. Early blooms. 30” tall, 4-way branching, 20 buds, 5 ½” flower. This is my best green edged daylily. IRISH HALO has a deep green throat, and a lovely ivory polychrome self, with a gorgeous green edge that surrounds each of the petals. This spring I entered IRISH HALO as a numbered seedling into the competition at our annual Daylily Show. We had fifteen (15) judges. IRISH HALO was selected as the best seedling, then, it was judged to be the very best of the 496 daylilies that were entered in the show. Each of the 15 judges decided separately that IRISH HALO was unique, that it was noticeably distinctive, and that, indeed, it was the “Best in the Show.” What better recommendation could there be for a new introduction? You will truly appreciate IRISH HALO because it has four-way branching, and buds that are not crowded or overly concentrated. From the first bloom to the last bloom, you will appreciate and adore this unique creation. Pod and pollen fertile.

This beautiful full form white blossom has wide overlapping petals that are ruffled and edged in strong green. WEDDING DANCER is no small daylily where most of the green edged offerings are about 5 inches, this is a consistently large bloom that blooms from early to late season in absolute perfection. Blooms are even prettier in person! Fertile both ways.

THIS IS A POSITIVE THAT EVEN MANY OF OUR FRIENDS ON THE GULF COAST VALUE AFTER LAST WINTER.
