The solid rose sepals display a bit of missing color pattern. A good increaser having thick scapes with a terminal W and 1 lateral hold an average of 20-26 buds and, unlike many small daylilies derived from Pauline Henry and Liz Salter plants, the plant can stay in the same spot for at least 5 years without a decline in bud count. While I don’t recall it having dots at the edges of the petals when it was selected in 2009, every single bloom has displayed them for 7 years running now. A division sent to York, PA in 2015 has maintained its spotting throughout its first 2 years so far. I also plan to introduce a kid in 2018 that inherited some spotting. Not the earliest of openers in cold weather, the blooms do stay open quite late in the evening over medium green leaves. Pollen parent: SCDDDCW19MPS-12 (unregistered) M 31” DOR 5¾” Introduction of this dusty orchid and rosy mauve with a multiple wave eye etched in purple on both petals and sepals over a yellow to green throat is planned for 2018. Fragrant, EMO and EXT, it often displays some of the veinal spoting exhibited by its mother. Scapes have a long terminal Y with 1-3 laterals holding 20-34 buds. Leaves are medium green. Goals: Hoping this backcross to its spottier mom will produce spottier kids.

The seeds have been air dried for 1-3 days before being refrigerated. Please store them in your fridge until ready to plant.
