This daylily is named for my grandson, The Runner, Alan G. Agin, III, nicknamed Lane. It has always been a garden favorite with the rich color that holds well in full sun. The teeth are not as prominent as it's sister seedling, RED FRIDAY but it easily passes on the toothy look. 1012 (Spring Sensation x Venus Flytrap) (‘RIDLEY’ is our Garden name and we think this one is very special…) 6.5” x 32” Dark purple flower with watermark, applique and green throat surrounded with a yellow toothy edge. Mid, Sev., Fertile. This is a seedling that we have been watching since 2010. . WE ARE HOLDING FOR INCREASE… It stands out in a crowd and will be a future Intro. J
