It it displays 2-3 laterals hosting 20-33 buds and often reblooms. Passes lighter edges to many of its kids. Makes narrow fans. (SCREAMING EELS X FLAMINGO FLAMBEAU).
Pollen parent: NNWHMTBCS-37 (unregistered) ML-L 54-61” (have to see if the higher number was due to the excessive rain of 2017) DOR 12” purple with a deeper eye over a cream green throat, the blooms curl as the day progresses. Very strong scapes stood up to every storm 2017 presented (unlike the fascia on the house, several trees and the barn doors) and hold 2 laterals and 25-35 buds. A fat, 4.08:1 spider that looks skinnier because it’s way up there, the blooms are EMO and EXT. A near-definite 2019 or 2020 intro. Goals: Hoping for screaming pink or vibrant purple Unusual Forms on tall scapes with great bud counts.
