Pod parent: HOLLY DANCER (Warrell 1988) M 32" DOR this 7" brilliant red 4.25:1 spider variant with green throat is heavily branched and budded, passing high bud counts and green throats. Praised by Sharon Fitzpatrick, Margo Reed, Ned Roberts and just about everyone else who matters, it was awarded the Harris Olson best spider award in 2006 and an Award of Merit in 2007. Pod parent of CHIEF BLACK HAND, FITZSAURUS, RED HRRICANE and TWO CATS DANCING, pollen of LOOK SEE and grandfather of FORTUNATE TWIST. Has been much used by Jamie Gossard as a tet conversion [(STOPLIGHT x MONSEIGNEUR GARNET) X (STOPLIGHT x sdlg)].
Pollen parent: NNWHMTBCS-37 (unregistered) ML-L 54-61” (have to see if the higher number was due to the excessive rain of 2017) DOR 12” purple with a deeper eye over a cream green throat, the blooms curl as the day progresses. Very strong scapes stood up to every storm 2017 presented (unlike the fascia on the house, several trees and the barn doors) and hold 2 laterals and 25-35 buds. A fat, 4.08:1 spider that looks skinnier because it’s way up there, the blooms are EMO and EXT. A near-definite 2019 or 2020 intro. [(NINA NINA WOLVERINA x HEAVENLY MISTER TWISTER) X BANSHEE CRADLESONG].
