Pod parent: SCDDBLCTFTTB-3 (unregistered) M-ML 42” DOR 6½” peach cream with faint double etched eye over a very green throat. Branching consists of a tall terminal Y and 2-3 laterals hosting up to 38 buds. Selected in 2014, it is proving to be a most worthy parent for narrow form pattern breeding. Pod parent of one of my 2 favorite 2017 seedlings, SCDDBLCTFTTB3WIZ-3. {[(SILOAM CINDERELLA x DRAGON DREAMS) x (BANSHEE LOVE CALL x TENNESSEE FLYCATCHER)] X TOOKY TOOKY BIRD}.
Pollen parent: DMAB6TTBBSO83-22 (unregistered) Gotta admit that I fell in love with the color and form and pattern of this new-for-2017 seedling. Clear medium pink with a red violet eye broken by multiple chevrons, the Spider ratio of the 12 blooms ranged from 3.857 (boo hoo…) to 5.4:1 (yippee!). Cascading, recurving blooms were 8” with a 13” wingspan. Promptly moved to the selected bed. {(Dallas Star seedling x MALACHITE PRISM) x ADDERBOLT] x BANSHEE CRADLESONG] X (TOOKY TOOKY BIRD x BANSHEE SONATA)}.
