Pod parent: IGCCPKFLADCW-5 (unregistered) 34” Mre DOR 5˝-6” of all the “dollop of color” pattered seedlings I’ve seen from INSTANT GRAFFITI, this has been the most contrasty. (And “contrasty” should be a word). The cooler the weather, the smaller the dollop of deep red on light yellow petals becomes. Scapes haven’t measured up bud count-wise yet, being merely topped with a terminal W and 16 buds, but the rebloom scapes were comparable. {INSTANT GRAFFITI X {(CORKY x CANDLESTICK PARK) x Flamingo Flambeau] x [(Dallas Star seedling x (CHIN WHISKERS x LITTLE WITCHING HOUR)]}.
Pollen parent: CCPKFLADCWIG-9 (unregistered) EM 34” DOR 5˝” I’m 99% sure that this seedling with very heavy substance that sometimes wiggles into Unusual Formness will be a 2020 intro (flooding, followed by a year of reorganizing the garden to tackle weeds that will continue through 2019, has delayed introduction). A yellow dusted russet bicolor with a pale eye and dollop of deeper rose, the color pattern has been present on every bloom regardless of temperature or humidity since its selection in 2014. EMO and EXT with 1-2 lateral branches beneath a terminal Y and 18 buds. Drought will cause the blooms to be more trumpety while cold will intensify the red in the dollop of color while decreasing the amount of yellow in the flowers. Makes small seeds. {[(CORKY x CANDLESTICK PARK) x Flamingo Flambeau] x [(Dallas Star seedling x (CHIN WHISKERS x LITTLE WITCHING HOUR)] X INSTANT GRAFFITI}.
