Spacecoast Alpha Wolf is destined to be one Top Dog in the field of toothy daylilies. The deep, saturated color varies from maroon to grape, but it always colorfast and stunning. The heart-shaped watermark sets off its green throat and the snarling gold and white teeth complete the package. Alpha Wolf's genetics are exemplary; its parent, Spacecoast Royalty, is a parent of 4 of our introductions and counting and goes back to Tet. Lavender Blue Baby. Spacecoast Sawfish was the best color parent of its generation, passing on its outstanding color to its kids. Alpha Wolf will also extend the bloom time in your garden, blooming a little later than most southern toothy daylilies. It has been a super parent for toothy hybridizing as well- not surprising when one looks back and sees layer upon layer of toothy genetics in the background. Whether for garden display only or for use as a hybridizing tool, Spacecoast Alpha Wolf is TOPS. Cross it with Spacecoast Fire Dragon or Spacecoast Night Mistress for Crazy awesome kids!

Do you like this one? Like all my introductions, what you see is what you get, and I am a stickler for clean clear colors. SHOCK AND AWE is glowing and pure. One of the largest chartreuse ¾” edges on a TRFK intro, and the hooks and ruffles aren’t bad either. Day in and day out this is how she looks. I love the lighter sepals, awash in intense sparkly green. The entire face of SHOCK AND AWE is boldly Diamond Dusted with a 6 ½” Celery Green throat that is absolutely breathtaking. Very Limited!!! Fertile both ways.
