GOAL: Working toward extra large large pink bearded flowers here. Edith Marie was a difficult pod parent for me.
I apologize if my photos do not reflect the true beauty of the parents in this cross. In almost all cases I am using my own photos from my garden. This way you know I have the plants and that they have bloomed for me. I encourage people to search the Internet for hybridizer photos as well to see blooms at their very best.
All seeds are from 2021 and were grown by me in my Newaygo MI garden which is zone 5. Seeds are dried for 3 days and then refrigerated. I dust with sulfur powder which is a safe method of discouraging plant and seed pathogens and is compliant with organic gardening. As such you may notice yellow dust on the seeds.
Any cross I am selling here I am also planting myself. I promised myself I would not plant more than 2,500 seeds. As a result, I am offering a portion of many of my crosses for those interested.
This is a hobby for me and not a business. As such, I am only shipping within the United States ($5) and Canada ($14). Shipping fees are per shipment regardless of how many packets are included. I accept PAYPAY, VENMO, CHECK and MONEY ORDERS. Payment must clear prior to shipping.
Thanks for looking and remember seedlings may or may not resemble one or both parents in the cross. Hybrid daylilies do not breed true and that is what makes it fun and exciting to anticipate something new and amazingly beautiful.
MORE FINE PRINT:
Seed shape and size and degree of shrivelling varies greatly from variety to variety. Please do not be alarmed if some seeds are small and some look like little dried raisins.
Seed germination is a complicated matter and depends on many many factors that are outside of my control. As such, I cannot guarantee germination rates. However, if you get zero germination on any cross please let me know. Since I will also be planting seeds from most all the crosses I sell, if I also got skunked, we will work something out in the way of a credit, refund or other arrangement for the purchase price (excluding postage and insurance)
Sorry, I do not ship anywhere that a phyto-certificate is required for seeds. I just do not have the time or energy for that this fall. It is your sole responsibility to know and obey the laws for importing daylily seeds to your shipping address. I take no responsibility for losses and delays resulting from import regulations.
Also, I cannot be responsible for lost or destroyed packages. Because of this, if you would like the shipments to be insured, and are willing to pay those extra fees, please let me know. For 2021, 1st class mail insurance rates within the USA are approximately $3.15 for $100 of insurance, $5.05 for $300 of insurance and $7.65 for $500 of insurance and from there $10.35 plus $1.55 per $100.00 or fraction thereof over $600 in declared value. I will not insure packages for more than the combined purchase price and no 3rd party shipments.
GOOD LUCK!
