*HIGH MOUNTAIN DEW (Pierce G. - 2019)  #5000  (New Day Sunshine x Guy’s OH HAPPY DAY!)  EE Sev. RE  40” tall, 8.5 to 8.75” flower,  5 way branching, 35-40 buds *Wonderful Scape, Fragrant Greenish.

Basically what is emerging here, with a hell of a lot of hard work, is a new daylily color;  Green.  Now HIGH MOUNTAIN DEW is not green, But, and here it is…  They ARE coming, step by step using Tens of thousands of seed, AND Time.  But this is for another day.  Visitors have commented, and I feel it is a fair, close example, they say “That big one looks like a huge Tennis Ball”,  I will tell you “She is certainly NOT a yellow”.   HIGH MOUNTAIN DEW is also the best and most full form I have released in this coloration – Yea!!!  One of the best Tetra Rose F. Kennedy offspring to date.   A Warning; After only a few blooms, you will find yourself not able to look at (older/other) yellows the same way again.  She is easily fertile both ways.

Flowers are chartreuse yellow with toothy edge and small green throat.
