Red Ragamuffin is a bright Red daylily that sports a fantastic gold toothed edge set nicely above a vibrant green thoat. "Red Ragamuffin" produces many different shades of vibrant red seedlings with great toothy edges when crossed with other edged and teeth daylilies. Wildly pod fertile, I have been able to make crosses with whatever pollen parent I choose. "Red Ragamuffin" is also pollen fertile. RUBY SHURIKEN (Benz’13) 32" x 6”, M. Dormant [(White Fang x Ruby Corona) X (White Fang x Spartan Warrior)] RUBY SHURIKEN boasts the largest flower with the best color and is also the largest plant with the strongest scapes and the best branching of all the sibs. This large 6" stunner sports ultra-flat side-facing blooms and a huge jagged sharky edge, like sib COSMIC SHURIKEN, but the resemblance stops there. In hot dry weather, the petal color lightens a bit and a ruby red halo is evident-STUNNING EITHER WAY. Heavier than most sharks teeth varieties and...always opens flat from the throat-regardless of weather. The pollen went on everything with teeth and 2 years later, the results exceeded all my expectations. Very vigorous with medium-large deep blue green arching foliage and straight well branched scapes with 22-25 buds. An easy parent both ways.
