It's been growing on a patch without regular irrigation and fertilization. The fans remain small compared to plants growing under the same conditions. The scapeis consistently 12-14" with terminal Y branching in my zone 6a garden. However, it's been growing and dividing just fine. If the size of the plant is your concern, please do not bid. Please be aware that it underperformsits registration stats. Pictures are from my garden.
