After seven years of hybridizing using various raised petaloid prospects, we have truly been blessed with the creation of MICHAEL’S SWORD!
MICHAEL’S SWORDis a dormant 29” diploid daylily with 5“ blooms, crispate form and is pod fertile. MICHAEL’ S SWORD performs with a bud count of up to 20+ buds. When compared to it’s pollen parent (LAVENDER BLUE BABY), MICHAEL’S SWORD exceeds LBB on bud count growing here in mid/northern Indiana. Most importantly, MICHAEL’S SWORD outperforms BEE’S BETTIE SUE's mid-rib crested effects by far, with 90-100% consistentbeardingon all three petals and is much easier to set seed with compared to BBS! Some thoughtbeardingcouldn’t be done with any consistency. MICHAEL’S SWORD now wields new truth for the future!

HI EVERYONE,
I hope you will have some fun buying some packets of BLACK, BEARDED, STREAKED, SPOTTED, BROKEN AND JUST PLAIN UNUSUAL SEEDS and winning a Stout Medal..or at least having the excitement of that first bloom.
I will be using my own photos when possible (of course, all seedlings will be my photos). Should I inadvertently put up a photo I have copied from the web and it is yours, let me know..I will give you credit or change it.
All seeds are 2018 seeds and will be shipped immediately after payment. Seeds vary in size and wrinkling, this does not affect their ability to germinate.
Seeds were air dried for 1-2 days, passed the "squeeze" test for viability and have been refrigerated for at least 2 weeks in zip sealed bags.
PAYPAL is preferred, but checks will be accepted. Payment to be received in 7 days, unless notified. Seeds will be mailed in bubble envelopes once payment is received. To combine wins just let me know. Postage is $3.50 for the first win, with no additional charge for up to 10 wins, if won in a two week period and shipped together.
