LADY PATCH (Best 2015 intro)20-22" inch scape height, 4.0" blooms with 3-4 way branching, 19-23 buds, mid season, Dormant, Diploid, pod fertile only (as it performs in our zone 5 gardens in good weather conditions). Special note: we liquid feed once during spring & do NOT use BAP to increase our inventories, nor do we mulch to TLC our daylilies in spring or before winter. Our 'Bearded daylilies have experienced -20 to -50 degree freezing wind chills in our zone 5a area over the years and should do well as far north as you can go in the USA. Keep in mind most dormants will do best in zone 6 areas and above.
LADY PATCH is not your average dusty-rose/mauve daylily with chartreuse throat! LADY PATCH is 100% 'Bearded' with "bearded-barbed appendages" straddling the midribs. LADY PATCH is named after the first colt ever sired by the Dan Patch - a most famous harness racing horse born and raised over 100 years ago here in hoosierland not far from the stables of Rainbow Hill Daylily Farm. Dan Patch (the horse) was undefeated and never lost a race.
~ You are bidding on a nice sized (1) single bloom sized fan of LADY PATCH as it exists today including any potential increase if any (no bonus included). Shipping/handling cost is $15.00 and there is no extra charge for extra items won on our auctions if the flowers/seeds you win will comfortably fit into your initial winning auction's USPS box (we offer combined shipping). Anything that doesn't fit or more than 10 fans won will require another $15 shipping/handling fee as needed (this listing counts as 1-fan shipped and the rest, if any increase, will be considered gift). Delivery is for an early mid-June shipment for spring 2019 when plants are mature and ready to ship (approx. a month after the window for last frost).
Sorry, no international buyers for this auction buy listing. Please check out our (+)feedbacks to learn how we've taken care of our LA customers who've had good experiences doing business with us over the years. We aim to please and if you have any problems with your order(s) please call or email to let us know what we can do to help! Mistakes can happen and we will do our best to promptly correct any issues at our cost.Look for more of our daylily cultivars and/or 100% 'Bearded' seed offerings in the coming week(s) ahead.
