CHEW MAILPOUCH TOBACCO (Hanson '12) DF, 73" tall, 5" bloom, 5 br, EM, Dor, Tet, Re Curt Hanson's super tall red from a cross of BELA LUGOSIand TetH. Altissima. Not only tall but totally hardy in Zone 4, fertile both ways, and an excellent parent for those going for tall and excellent branching (from the species Altissima). Rare in that it's a species kid and very tall, but NOT yellow. It's red with one purple parent and one yellow, so it can be crossed with a wide variety of colors and not produce yellow kids. Pod parentBELALUGOSIis a classic with many awards - HM 1998, AM 2001 and Lenington All-American 2007. So it's packed with great quality genetics! No rust. No artificial increase methods. Organic soil amendments. Shipping varies according to weather but is usually first half of May.
